Monster Hunter Freedom 2 coming.
“… including a multiplayer mode where up to four players can fight cooperative battles in a wireless ad hoc mode, along with the ability to download extra content and quests. It will also include 50 percent more content than the original game.” I logged almost 200 hours playing the first PSP game without completing every quest in the game so the promise of 50 per cent more content is mindboggling.

1680×1050

The Dell 2007WFP widescreen display has a native resolution of 1680×1050 which is a rather unusual aspect ratio of 16:10 compared to the usual 4:3 or 16:9. If you’re looking for ready-made wallpaper in that resolution, try these sites:

  • InterfaceLIFT has a huge amount of wallpapers in various categories. Some favourites: 1, 2, 3, 4.
  • Guild Wars has beautiful artwork but I’m disappointed ArenaNet hasn’t updated the wallpaper section regularly. Still, there are 36 wallpapers to choose from. This one had the honour of being the first widescreen wallpaper to grace my display.
  • Troutnut, as you might guess from the name, is a site about an insane fish. No, wait, it’s actually for trout-fishing fans. There are some truly spectacular wallpaper of fishing spots.
  • From Old Books has over 1670 images culled from, you guessed it, insane fish. No, wait, from old books. Unfortunately, not every image is available in 1680×1050. I had this painting as a wallpaper for a week.
  • Andrew Bell has cute cartoon creatures in his head and wallpapers on his site. Only 8 of 18 are in the sexy 1680×1050 resolution, though.
  • Inland Yacht Club may not have much in the way of quantity but the quality of the wallpaper will take your breath away.
